I decided to put these pictures here because I was spending too much money on paper and ink to show them to my friends and colleagues. I have tried to categorise them in a rather arbitrary way. All pictures are copyright (c) John Young 2002. For your personal enjoyment only.

All pictures in the first 7 indexes were made with UltraFractal and any credit belongs to the author of this superb program and the generous contributors of formulae. This collection has been updated in November 2002, although a few of my older pictures are retained. Povray was used for two rendered fractals as indicated. The last two indexes contain pictures made with Xenodream. The pictures here are those that appeal to my own particular sensibilities. UF Technical note - all the UltraFractal pictures here are composed from layers using different colouring, but with the same formula, magnification and other parameters. Keeping to this rule, I have only to consider an infinity of possibilities instead of an infinity of infinities!
